MAC Cremesheen Glass in Fashion Scoop, Smashbox Be Discovered Jet Set Eye Liner in Idol, Bare Escentuals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 in The Epiphany |
*Sigh* Just when you think Spring is finally here, another storm comes around and rains on your parade (literally). This morning, with the weather as dreary & gray as it was, my recent go-to look of bronze eyes & bright pink lips just didn't quite seem appropriate. I decided to opt for a more neutral, cooler-toned eye & baby pink lips instead.
If you haven't seen the new pressed eyeshadows from bareMinerals, I highly recommend you go swatch them. I was pleasantly surprised by how buttery soft & incredibly pigmented they are.
The Epiphany is a beautiful neutral duo. The shade on the left (called A-Ha) is a stunning brushed chrome/ taupe color with a metallic sheen to it. The only thing I've noticed with this particular shadow though, is you have to be careful not to overapply it. The metallic pigments can start to look cakey if you layer too much on. The shade on the right (Foreshadow) is slightly plummy, deep brown matte color. It pairs very well with A-Ha as a crease color or even on the lash line for a little extra definition.
I hope you are enjoying the weekend! Thanks for reading!
Lots of Love,
Louise

DeleteSorry to hear about the terrible weather (I'm in the midst of a snow storm if it makes you feel any better haha). Love the sounds of your Beauty look of the day. The eyeshadow looks particularly lovely, & such great neutral colours!
